I dedicated this book to my passion for for the mid-century. It combines the self-conception of the modern Lady and the contemporary masculinity with the glamorous look of that period. Those men and women were self-confident and in proper-style. They knew what they wanted and they knew how to style themselves. To collect all these images, I traveled throughout the world. The photos were shot within Europe, the US, Australia, South Africa and Russia between 2009-2014. I vary between using analog and digital cameras. The book is mainly shot with a digital medium format camera, as well as a 50’s analog camera, and polaroid. Approximately 200 photos showcase the rockabilly scene, the 50’s, vintage, pin-ups, burlesque, hot rods, car races, and much more.
